Join our Volunteer Experience Program
Our Volunteer experience program exposes participants to many sustainable and ecological aspects of alternative living by utilizing principles of Permaculture and Biodynamics. Our current attention goes to building a sustainable model community in the high lands of Guatemala where one of the most beautiful ecosystems Lake Atitlan is endangered. We are hoping to have an impact by bringing people one step closer to nature.
Our projects involve working with surrounding communities to help establish living systems that are in harmony with nature. Depending on ongoing projects volunteers will be exposed to 1 to 5 domains of sustainability: Water, Energy, Food, Shelter and Waste. Please inquire about current ongoing projects if you would like to experience a particular field.
We welcome dedicated human beings who care for our planet and want to make a difference by spreading the seeds of sustainability. A minimum commitment of one month is required to feel the breath of natural living at Green New World.
We also welcome long term volunteers who wish to submerse themselves into a sustainable lifestyle!
